Football Pickem Pool

League ia a 1.0.15 Joomla component.  We had planned to do a full 1.5 Native rewrite this sesaon but ended up missing our deadline. As a result, we're planning to support 1.5 Legacy this seaon, while using that time to finish the native version.   If you would like to run a site identical to this one, that's available to you.     Currently, the code does not support the Group Competion but we'll be adding that during the preseason.   If you would like to learn more about the webmaster version, visit jPickem.com

If you are a Joomla person, then consider the possibilities:

A component that allows your Joomla site to host your own competition.  What's cool about that?  The downside about football and sports pools run from the office is that they detract from getting things done.  What if you could bring the pool into your organization?   What if you could blend some football or  any type of sports competition into what you are already doing with Joomla?

At this point we're looking for feedback on this idea.   If we get enough positive responses, we'll build a business model that supports this.
